Beneath the cover of night
The churchyard stirs a dream
Winter, a cold opus opposed
Against my snowbound hand
Denial, freezing
My tainted soul withers
Striking pain
From this life of agony
So sweet that which empowers
The soul when light draws low
Empty all that weep
Into the lake of sorrow
Beseeching in faith
Distant tunnel lights
Redemption, recovery
From this life of agony
I walk
I breathe every lovers final distressful words
And I see every dusk and dawn that they foretold
I walked an old path for the last time
Then blown away like candlelight
Forgotten like snow that had once enrobed a death

definetely one of my favourite bm projects lately, love the synth elements. makes you remember how amazing, but terrifying, space really is :) scumdrug

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-
A foreboding black-doom metal dirge, meditating on a dark world caked in ash, resulting from all the Earth’s nuclear arsenal detonating at once. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 14, 2018
