lyrics
Endlessly calling out
Beyond my hand I feel you in the shadows alone
Close below in darkness
There lies a love once known to me but now it's gone
Say it, release me from this pain
Make it true again
Reaching my arms through to you
Red roses on darkened soil
Erotic vines caress the lines of statues engraved
Hear your words still echoing
Deep in the mist a kiss is blown from frozen blue lips
Scream it, release me from this pain
It must be you again
Reaching my arms through to you
Reaching out for you
Like angels fierce and tawny-eyed
Back to your chamber I will glide
Hither where thou art wont to sleep
Amid the shadows hollow and deep
O darksome beauty you shall swoon
At kisses colder than the moon
And fondlings like a snake who coils
Sinuous round the grave he soils
And with my kiss your blood I take
In lustful sin a life erased
The fanfare to eternal sleep
A piercing scream as I bite deep
At the end, is she there?
See right through, is she there?
Black and blue, is she there?
At the end

What an album! The only reason the album didn't elevate them straight to stardom is not enough people heard it. Modern classic - from start to finish. c1ch

A truly epic saga told in clean vocals and death growls, wrapped up in death, black, power, and doom metal. There are no defaults here: genres and styles are just tools used to convey the desired mood, and Khemmis interchanges them effortlessly and with purpose. Somehow, it’s incredibly cohesive and compelling. Plus, the artwork is absolutely SICK. 11/10 buying a shirt, or maybe a dozen. Buy this album, then go check out their store before I buy it all… daemoncline
A foreboding black-doom metal dirge, meditating on a dark world caked in ash, resulting from all the Earth’s nuclear arsenal detonating at once. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 14, 2018

Abstract Illusion achieve to create an imaginary landscape that magnets to our metallic soul. An extraordinary rounded album that will continue spinning for a long period. josich
